Saw this on Ebay today. I think this is VSA member Tom Hipschman (sp?) in Forked River. Paul probably knows more on him?

That's Tom - he already responded.  He's selling the 1800 as well as a 240 Turbo project he started.  Says he just doesn't have the time to work on these cars right now.  BUT - he bought an S60R to ease the pain...  :D

If I was him I would have mentioned the reason for sale in the ad.  Seeing someone say they are selling a car because they just don't have time for it anymore would put me more at ease than just reading a list of issues the car has and being left to wonder if it's being sold for hidden problems not mentioned...

Didn't meet reserve at $4,100...    :(

I don't know what the reserve is, but based on what I saw at West Point, this car is worth more than THAT...

I don't know.  I see what looks like some bubbled paint in a couple of the pictures so the next owner is going to have to address that before it gets much worse.  That's got to be factored in to what someone's willing to pay.
