Second gear has been crunchy since I bought the car. Now first and 3rd are about as bad. I'll try checkign the oil first and see if adding any helps. I've had the spare transmission in the garage waiting to get cleaned up to go in, but I've been procrastinating since I don't want to tear into that car until after I get all the work done on the TDI.  Plus, part of me wants to install a 5 spd or O/D, but those aren't cheap.

So far, just cloudy and chilly by the forecast I'm reading.  Fingers crossed.

Looks like the low is moving out faster than previously predicted. Latest forecast seems to be mostly cloudy early with increasing sun throughout the day.  Definitely bringing a warm jacket.
