The good news: the restoration of the 1961 Jensen #345 is moving
forward, and it might even be painted within the month.

The bad news: the project is way over budget (probably shouldn't be a
surprise) and I'm seriously thinking about selling my 145 to finance the
Jensen.

of this message.

Here's the description. If it doesn't sell privately, it may wind up on
eBay within the couple weeks:

1972 Volvo 145. 89,256 original miles. Sold new in California, then
lived in Texas until 2006. Vehicle had completely original faded paint,
no dents, no accidents, and no rust when it arrived in New England in
2005. Professional repaint in original #46 red. Original interior in
100% showroom condition except for sun-faded carpets. Automatic
transmission converted to M41 manual/overdrive. No radio [dash uncut].
B20F engine torn down and freshened, including 1975 Volvo electronic
ignition and conversion to twin SU HS6 carbs. New brakes, has 240 Turbo
rims. Original wheels, rings, and caps also come with the car. Show
winner every time it’s been out. I don't think there's a nicer 145
in the US. Best offer in the range of $10,000.

Nice.  I love the 145's - good thing that one isn't orange...
