The Mini is ready to go. Not sure about the ES yet. I visited it at Euro Plus yesterday on the way to the dentist and it does start now. Nick (the owner, I think) wants to figure out why it's so hard to start (FI should start instantly) and why the engine stumbles while idling and if the throttle is applied too quickly.

What did they do to get it to start?

Have they checked fuel pressure?  It kinda sounds like it's not getting enough...

No idea.  It's got fuel pressure.  They had a gauge on it when I saw it along with other testing tools.

So assuming there's no water falling from the sky tomorrow night, where are you all meeting?

I'll be going straight from work. Hoping to get there pretty early - 4:30 or so.  If I can I'll park in front of or near the Lotus dealer.  A couple of the workers there are into Mini's, although I haven't seen the R53 parked in the back for awhile.

I saw the signs up last week, but forgot to post this.

I'll try to get the GT6 out this week.  I haven't driven the poor thing since Carlisle.  :(

If some kind of miracle occurs and I get home from Bayonne early, I'll let you know

Despite the nice weather, attendance was light.  Fewer than the May event.  One vendor attributed this to Summer vacations, but I also wonder if the signs not going up until the week prior didn't help.  I did see Phil, although forgot to ask which car he brought.

I'm guessing they'll have another one sometime in Sept.

Sweet.  8)

I should be there with something.  Probably the GT6, since I haven't driven it much over the past month or so.

I just saw this posted on the Lotus dealer's Facebook page. A bit early this year, but at least plenty of warning.  Last year the Spring night was mobbed with great attendance, so I plan to get there around 4 to get a good parking spot.

Fingers crossed for dry weather!  ;D
