I didn't even know about it. In any case, my car is completely dead right now. Won't start and we haven't figured out why yet.

Dead?!!?!    I'll take a wild guess here.....maybe a failed/broken timing gear?

No... pretty sure it's not that as TDC on the crank still coincides with the distributor #1 position and still does after repeated cranking attempts.  It started doing a random stumbling when Robyn drove home from the show in Aug and got progressively worse and then stopped running entirely.  I tried adjusting and replacing a few things with now luck.  At a total loss right now and have no idea who to turn to.  Right now, I'd just pay somebody to fix it as I really don't have time for this.
