...has a new location!

Don't worry - it's just a little further east on rt 33.  The new building looks much more modern, although I'm not sure parking will be as good.

Perhaps we should schedule a meet there to make sure the ice cream is as good as before???

Suggestions for a date anyone?

OK, based on what I'm seeing this would be a good week to have a quick little ice cream run to Jakes.  So here's the deal:

Wednesday night - July 8th, 7:30pm - c'mon out and join us for an ice cream on rt 33.

The only question is - should we go visit the new one or the old one?

The new one is just a few miles further east...

I'm in.  Either location is fine with me.

PaulGraz

OK, executive decision time - we're going to the new location.

E-mail sent to the whole chapter - let's see who shows up.

There's a retired guy in Jackson who's been in VSA for longer than I have, who just wrote to me last week for the first time.  He indicated that he might show up in his 66 1800s as soon as I set something up - so we'll see...

Will try to be there too.  \:D/

Well, not as many cars showed up as I thought would be there.  Carl came, but the 164 wasn't willing.  Robyn wasn't feeling well, and Ralph did tell me it was all dependent on getting out of work on time.

Nevertheless, a good time was had by the 6 of us who made it!

And we all got a good chuckle out of Bard's new graphics:

The "new" guy with the really nice 66 is Rich from Jackson...

So the 3 1800's there were red, white, and blue - just a few days after the 4th!  How about that?

Any interest in trying to have one more ice cream get-together before it gets cold out?

gmitchels

It's already cold out!

Sure!

Pick a night.  Weeknight?  (weekends are pretty busy lately)

If I can make a request - not a Tuesday?

Once we set a date - I'll send out an email and maybe we can get some new people dropping by...

Weeknights are fine with me.  My weekends are also kind of busy the next few weeks.  Looking at the forecast, I'd suggest Thursday or Friday next week, though who knows if the forecast will change before then...

Jerseygirl

Thursday and Friday next week are still looking clear.  Do we want to pick one of those as our date?

PaulGraz

Sounds good - Thursday should be better for me, but Friday should be OK too...

Well both are fine with me, but I know you wanted to send an email out to the group so I figured we should pick a date so they don't complain it was too last minute.  ;)

PaulGraz

In case anyone didn't get the email - we're doing this on Thursday night...

I'll be there.  Hopefully in the ES, depending on the weather.
